Here are the rules:

The event will consist of two teams the Borg and Starfleet.

Firstly, entry is open to anyone wishing to participate, even if they do not have a regular RP character in game.

Participants must choose a side and create a character accordingly. Participants cannot have a character for both sides.

No other name variations are allowed.

The Ship Set-up: (subject to change)

Borg:

Borg Characters may only fly the Borg Tactical cube available in game at planet Holstein. No other ship is allowed.
Borg Characters may mount only Nomad Weapons and no Missiles or Torpedoes are allowed.
Borg Tactical Cube may keep orignal mounted weapons. (pending final approval)
Borg can use mines
Borg can use Nanobots. Borg cannot use or carry shield batteries.
No Cruise Disrputors can be mounted

Starfleet:

Starfleet Characters may fly either of the Enterprise ships that are available in game. No other ship is allowed.
Starfleet can mount any guns they wish with the exception of nomad guns; and no missiles are to be mounted.
Starfleet may mount a Starkiller Torpedo only.
Starfleet can use mines.
Starfleet can use Shield Batteries. Starfleet cannot carry or use Nanobots.
No Cruise Disruptors can be mounted


Event Details:

The event will last for 48 hours. Particpants may come and go as they please during this time.

The two sides will battle for supremacy over the duration using a points based system.

Points break-down:

Someone presenting a Screen Shot showing a death of a member of the opposing team will be awarded 1 point. The kill must be posted in the correct manner as deemed at the time. (i.e. Screenshot or victim confirmation included, date, time and place of death)

There will be no additional points for system victories as this just complicates matters.

The Dead is Dead rule will be in use. Multiple battles may spread throughout the Sirius sector, this is allowed.

Any queries or disputes can be posted to event admin via the forums or to an in game monitor (if there is one in game at that time). Event admin decisions are final on any matter.

The winners will be the team with the most points after the 48 hours.

Top 3 point winners (possibly more) from each team will be awarded small monetary prizes.

Winning team gets good bragging rights!

FINAL NOTES:

- Starfleet. only 1 Starkiller can be mounted on your ship.
No powerplant of any kind to be mounted to your ships.

- Borg. The best class 6 shield found so far is the sentinel, found on baden baden. Let me know if there is a better one.
Borg powerplant only to be used.
